Tomorrow, August 11th at 1pm, Postdocs and Research Associates will meet with Penn admin for our fourteenth bargaining session. At our last bargaining session, Penn’s dismissive attitude towards demands for stronger support for international researchers became increasingly apparent. It’s up to Postdocs and Research Associates across campus to make Penn realize that we expect—and deserve—more. Showing up to observe bargaining with other workers demonstrates to Penn that support for international researchers, fair workload protections, increased compensation, and more remains strong. So make some time to observe bargaining TOMORROW, August 11th. The session will start at 1pm and continue until 5pm. You may arrive and leave as it suits your schedule, though earlier is better because sessions can sometimes end early.
