Read the letter and join hundreds of researchers using this link.
- Bargaining Sessions: Our next bargaining session is on May 14th from 1-5pm. RSVP here. You can attend for any portion of the day. Check the #organizing channel on Slack for live updates of bargaining (and reply to this email if you want to be added to Slack).
- AAUP-Penn asks Postdocs and Research Associates to support shared governance and a commitment to free speech: The Provost’s Office has released a draft of new Open Expression Guidelines that threaten to erode shared governance and freedom of speech across the Penn community. In advance of two listening sessions at the end of this month, faculty members affiliated with AAUP-Penn are circulating a petition urging the Provost’s Office to commit to (1) shared decision making and procedural transparency and (2) robust protection of free speech. Members of the RAPUP-UAW Bargaining Committee have endorsed this statement and ask supporters to add their names in support.
