Despite a supermajority of Postdocs and Research Associates signing cards in support of unionization, Penn continues to assert that academic researchers are “temporary employees” that are ineligible to form a union. This is a break with years of well-established precedent and a deliberate attempt to disenfranchise Penn workers and delay our legal right to a vote. In response, Postdocs and Research Associates will hold a rally and march on campus on Thursday, June 12th at 1pm demanding that Penn let us vote!
